Let's go to Cali!

I'm going, going--back, back to Cali, Cali...
How's that for a dated earworm? Did you lose the game yet today? Because I know I just did. You're welcome! ;)
Day nĂºmero 1 is for the record books. I've managed to keep a top-notch, heavy-duty, full-caliber, holy sh*t balls, really WTF-esque situation under wraps all the live long day and several weeks leading up to today and I'm ecstatic beyond words at having achieved such an amazing feat! I must be careful still. But, alas, winter is NOT coming...because we're going to California where the air is clean and the women are...effing awesome!
Yeah...so I'm exhausted and under the influence of strong sedatives...the musky aroma of Warrenton, MO's local America's Best Value Inn is beckoning...it's soothing air conditioning unit is purring me a soothing lullaby...goodnight.

Good Night
Holy shit...I mean really...what a damn day.
We managed to get just over 6 hours of drive time under out belts before we finally gave in. I didn't really realize, but Samantha has barely slept for the last several nights and neither one of us slept very much last night. We were both up and out of bed before 6:30 this morning - I was to work by 7...crazy sauce for me, but I was done with my work and out the door before noon.
Really, what an awesome day...We are somewhere in the mid-west. 7 hours since we hit the road. It is fantastic.
I can't tell you how incredibly great it is to have someone to talk to while you're driving - someone who can keep your mind going and make time pass right by. 6 hours into driving - well past St. Louis and it barely seems like anything at all (except that we are all really tired and need a good set of Z's in our life) It really tripped me out when I changed my car clock to match the time-zone...like we totes gained an hour and we are totes gaining like 3 hours across the whole journey. That is pretty cool.
I can tell by the 3 subject changes in the same paragraph and by the weight of my eye-lids that I need to try to sleep.
Gotta give my lady the props - she really rocked it out today.
See you soon Cali!
